The Rev SFC Jason A. Clark:

SFC Jason A. Clark was born in Flint, Michigan to Kerry A. Clark and Joanne M. Varney. He married his high school sweetheart, Erin D. Saxton. They have a twenty-eight year old daughter named Cassandra, who is married and medically retired from the U.S. Army. He also has a son named Caleb who is the Army, stationed in Germany. SFC Clark has a Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Studies, with a cognate in Religion, Social Science and Business Management, from Liberty University. He also has an Associates in General Studies, from Central Texas College. After three years of Study at Sewanee, SFC Clark completed the requirements of the Diaconate Program, where he received his ecclesiastical endorsement through the Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Tennessee. Currently, he is assigned to the Church of the Nativity, in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after graduating from Flint Central high in 1989. After being honorably discharged, he re-entered active service in the United States Army, in 1993.

SFC Clark’s assignments include: 2/10 Field Artillery, Camp Lejeune, NC. Served as Gun Truck Operator in Task Force Ripper, during Operation Desert Shield, Storm, and Cease Fire; 3/10 Field Artillery, Okinawa, Japan; 2nd Light Armored Infantry, Camp Lejeune, NC; 24th Transportation Company, Ft. Riley, KS, as Team Leader; USAG, Ft. Riley, KS, as Division Commanders Driver; 233rd Transportation Company, Ft. Knox, KY, as Heavy Equipment Transporter, 702nd Military Support Battalion, Camp Casey, S. Korea, as HHD, Platoon Sergeant/BN Drivers Training Instructor; 8th Army HQs, Yongsan, S. Korea, as USFK/CINC, General Officer Chauffer and Presidential Limousine Driver for H.W. Bush; 21st Cargo Transfer Company, Ft. Lewis, WA, as Platoon Sergeant ; 513th Transportation Company, Ft. Lewis, WA, as Platoon Sergeant. After 9/11 served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom II and Operation Iraqi Freedom III; USAREC, Atlanta Recruiting Battalion, with duty in Chattanooga, TN & the 1ST Infantry Division, Ft. Riley, KS. (Military Transition Team Advisor).

SFC Clark is a graduate of the Marine School of Infantry, Marine Combat Training, Marine Non-Commissioned Officers Residents Course, Warrior Leadership Course, Basic Airborne School, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Air Assault School, Basic Instructors Course, Anti-Terrorist Evasive Driving Course, Combat Life Savers Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course; Army Recruiting School and Station Commanders Course.
