Join us for our annual Back to School Bash to celebrate and kick off the new school year! Families attending will have the opportunity to participate in fun activities and make connections to helpful community resources. This includes:

  • Learning & Fun: interactive learning activities and educational resources; fun STEM activities; face painting; and so much more!

  • Health & Wellness:  a wide variety health resources and services for families; therapy dogs on site; and sports activities.

  • Resources: Our community partners are here to support your family along your child's learning journey. Learn about the many resources available in our community from free WIFI for eligible families through HCS EdConnect, powered by EPB; energy assistance programs; and job opportunities.

  • Food:  free meals and snacks while supplies last along with food trucks to add to the delicious food options.
We can't wait to see our students and families for an exciting day in the park to celebrate the new school year! 

EVENT DIRECTIONS


To enter the Back to School Bash, take the North Robinson Bridge Riverpark Entrance closest to Chattanooga State campus. Look for the HCS event signs and balloons! 
 
Note: The south entrance to the Boat Ramp will be closed to through traffic. Parking at the boat ramp parking lot is reserved for boaters only. BTSB guests parking in this area may be towed. Please follow signs to the event entrance and parking. 

Expect some traffic delays. Drive slowly and take your time!

Ample free parking is available! Please drive slowly and follow parking directions. Once the first two parking lots are full, all traffic will be directed to Lot 3. 

From the parking area, follow the event signs along the scenic Tennessee Riverwalk under the bridge to get to the event.
